Hey lovelies! I’m back with my first post this year and I know I haven’t been posting in a while (I’m sorry about that) but, I’m back with a new post: My hair color story! I get asked about this almost everyday so I thought I would make a post so you can find out about it in more detail.

I’ve posted some Instagram photos after changing my hair color, but thought I’d share a proper blog post about my full evolution/experience on my hair color.

After being a brunette for a long time, I tried a red/brown color. The brown tone doesn’t really appear in photos, but under certain light.

I've got my hair colored in the shade Majirel 4.45, i.e, Copper Mahogany. I honestly had no idea what color my hair would end up in. I gave the hairdresser full control. Even when applying the color, I couldn’t get an indication of what the end result would be. After rinsing, I sat there with a mop on my head. No joke, it really looked like I had a wet mop on my head. I controlled myself to wait until it was dry and lucky that I managed to, because I loved the true color that appeared! There were definitely some details that I wasn’t so happy with, like the roots and how certain areas had more of a reddish tone, but overall, I was alright with the result. Besides, I was really amazed how I could see my skin tone going from dull to a more refreshing and pinkish tone. The color of your hair really makes a whole world of a difference! Difference that not even makeup can make.
