I gave my hair the most wonderful treatment at home with Wella Professionals and I’m here to tell you more about it.

MY EXPERIENCE:

The shampoo and mask come in a round, sleek bottle. It is a white colored bottle, with goldens carvings on it. The flip button cap makes it easy to use and convenient in the shower. There is some basic information on the back of the bottle. Since the packaging is sleek, you can easily take it along during travels.

The shampoo is clear in colour and has a gel-like texture whereas the mask is milk colored. Botth of them have a semi-thick consistency. The lovely warm, nutty scent of the products adds to the feeling of luxury every time you shampoo your hair. It lathers very well and is easy to rinse off. The hair looks smooth and soft and there are fewer tangles.

I have been using the shampoo and the mask, especially when I have oiled my hair, and it cleanses the hair thoroughly. It even removes oil with just one wash. Oil reflections moisturises and nourishes the hair from roots to the ends. I have split ends and my hair looks very dry. I have noticed that the ends are very nourished and there are fewer splits ever since I’ve started using this pair. That is because Wella Oil Reflections claim to be 72 hour frizz free.

The shampoo doesn’t make scalp greasy, which is a plus, and it doesn’t change the natural texture of the hair either. And neither does it weigh down the hair nor does make it limp.

For people with normal hair, I would recommend the shampoo and conditioner with occasional use of the mask. People with extremely dry hair could benefit from regular use of the mask as it does an excellent job of adding softness and shine to the hair while taking away frizz. It also has a lovely versatile oil that is rich with macadamia oil, avocado oil and Vitamin E. We hear so much about keratin these days which is the protein building block of the hair but lipids (oils) are equally important as they are the glue that keeps the structure of the hair together and gives it shine. Do note that the shampoo contains SLS so if you’re looking for an SLS-free option, the Wella Professionals Elements range is the one to go for.
